On the occasion of the release of the new James Bond “Die Can Wait”, Aston Martin is launching the Vantage and DBS Superleggera models on the market.
When James Bond saves the world once again in the new film “Die Can Wait”, which hits screens in November, it will once again be aboard an Aston Martin. For the British manufacturer, the opportunity was perfect to release a limited edition “007 Edition” of the Vantage and DBS Superleggera models. After all, four Aston Martins are appearing in the 25th James Bond 007.
Q, Aston Martin’s specialist department, is responsible for special vehicle equipment. The supreme service of personalization fitted the Vantage, painted in Cumberland Gray, with a mesh grille with chrome accents, as well as yellow piping at the diffuser. This touch of color is a nod to the danger strip that materializes the area where the reactor takes place on the film model. Inside, we find black leather, carbon bucket seats, dark chrome, and a few allusions to James Bond series vehicles, like the paddles on the steering wheel encrusted with a target.
Delivery early 2021
The DBS Superleggera “007 Edition” is distinguished by ceramic gray paint, carbon fiber elements, and exclusive 21-inch wheels. Again, there are several references to James Bond, including 007 logos inside and out.
While only 100 copies of the Vantage “007 Edition” will be available at the starting price of 161,000 pounds sterling (nearly 180,000 euros), the British sports car maker will limit the DBS Superleggera, displayed at the minimum price of 279,025 books (over 310,000 euros), only 25 copies. Orders for both models are already open. Their delivery will take place in the first quarter of 2021. James Bond 007
